Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne is an Hollywood actress, author and bestselling novelist. Her talent has earned her international recognition. Sagittarius. Born in North Carolina December 3, 1960. She's the eldest of three siblings born to Peter Moore Smith, a paratrooper, and Anne psychologist. She's English and Scottish heritage. Due to her father's job the Moore family moved a lot and she had to work hard to make friendships or maintain ones. Moore was in the class of Frankfurt American High School in Germany at the time her parents relocated to America. Then she began to perform in the theatre. She continued her studies in Boston University, graduating in 1983 with an B.F.A. Moore graduated in 1983, with a B.F.A. Moore started her acting career off-Broadway at New York, after she graduated. In 1985, she made her on-screen debut on The Edge of Night. In 1986 she was cast in the dual roles as Sabrina Hughes, and Frannie Hughes on the show As the World Spins. This role gave her the break that resulted in her achievement. This show lasted until 1988, and she won the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990 her first appearance as an actor in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie. In the following years, she called it a low budget film. Short Cuts was produced by Robert Altman in 1993 and 3 Women was released in 1997. She received several nominations and was praised for the initial film. Moore's debut lead role was as a lead actress in Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg, who was the director of Jurassic Park: The Lost World in 1997 and one of that year's biggest grossing movies, cast Moore as the lead actor. In 1999, she was awarded the SAG Award for her performance in Magnolia. In 2002, she starred alongside her co-stars in The Hours which got nominated for nine Academy Awards with Nicole Kidman as well as Meryl Streep. Moore was also featured in The Forgotten 2004, Freedomland, Shelter and Shelter 2010. Non-Stop premiered in the year 2014. Moore was a regular in many TV and film series. Recently, she was featured as the lead in When You Finish Saving The World (2022). She's established herself in Hollywood in addition to being a successful children's book author. She released her first book Freckleface Strawberry (2007) and it was an N.Y.T. bestseller. It became a top bestseller, and then was made into a TV series along with a musical. In 2013, Moore wrote My Mother is a Stranger. Moore being a accomplished author and actor, has made her personal life known to the world. She was married in 1984 to John Robin and in 1995 they separated. Moore has two children with Bart Freundlich whom she later was married to in 2003. Moore is a woman who values her career and family.
